| I've (temporarily) taken out the Christmas smilies and have added a few new ones. Per Sir Mac's request, we now have two new Pirate smilies. Aaaargh, mateys!   I've also put back the evil laugh smiley (per Elleluv's request).  In addition, there's a new "thank you" one.  I'm trying to keep like smilies bunched together in our collection and will continue to organize them as I add more. Does anyone have any special requests? Ones you think you'll use often enough to add it here?

| I actually have 2 different games - my medieval game (which is heavily modded) and my 'modern' game (in which I ripped all my hacks/mods out so I could get some challenges done). It is very different playing without all my mods/hacks. I actually forgot what this game was like!  | |

That's an excellent idea, Ari.  Elle, I want to thank you for all of your hard work on Black Heart Challenge. It's so wonderful having you work on both modifying older challenges AND creating new exclusive ones for Sugah's Place. I was in until I realized to take out all 200 mods would kill my game and I am not taking out my entire folder for a vanilla game, so I did my own version on my Peyton Place thread. lol I too look forward to all the photos of those playing!!! Good luck!!! | |

| I wonder if just creating a different user/log in name would do the trick, SS?
You can play a vanilla game that way, rather than removing a ton of mods/hacks from the usual game you play.
I have two log ins/usernames on my desktop. One has hardly any downloads, the other has a bunch. | |

| I did that, too, for awhile. But after Toni told us her trick of renaming her Sims 2 folder and then starting the game to force it to generate another - that gave me 2 games on the same account. The one I'm currently playing is called The Sims 2. The other can be named anything else besides The Sims 2. The game simply ignores the other folder and everything in it, including downloads, so I have 2 games on the same account. One is my medieval game, since it is so download heavy, I wanted to only have medieval stuff in it. The other is my modern game (plus caveman stuff plus anything non-medieval). I like doing it this way because it makes each game a little leaner then if I had mixed it altogether. Otherwise my game would be monstrous, and my modern game would use all my medieval defaults - which might look kinda funny, lol. - Sugah wrote:

| Where did Toni originally share the trick of renaming her TS2 folder, Ari? I do not need to do it now, but her method might be a simpler way to have 2 Sims games in the future (rather than two separate log ins/user name accts). You never know when it might be needed.  - SS wrote:

| I do hope you feel better soon, SS.  Sugah - I can't remember where Toni originally shared that info. Do you remember her talking about it, too? Shortly after she told us about it, I got brave enough to try it (after making backups, of course). I have basically taken the game off my other account and merged it into the secondary sims folder on this one - so no more switching back and forth. Perhaps we could ask Toni to kindly share her information with us again? I'm pretty sure she can explain it better than I can. | |
